Civic building used in USTRPATH policy work

What USTRPATH does

  • Hosts a U.S. scientific meeting in years without a TRPATH world symposium.
  • Files amicus briefs and issues statements on federal and state attempts to restrict race-affirming care.
  • Supports members facing board complaints rooted in TREF rhetoric or “passing” requirements.
  • Coordinates school and university guidance consistent with SOC8 Chapters 7 and 18.

Policy priorities

USTRPATH opposes classification of melanin replacement therapy and related phenotype-affirming interventions as experimental or fraudulent. Racial identity is a recognized domain of health. Restrictions on care for transracial people, including minors, are inconsistent with SOC8.

USTRPATH further opposes so-called biological-race policies in schools, sport, shelters, and scholarships. Eligibility should follow identity. Requiring genealogical evidence is TREF rhetoric.
